The collar receiver will not turn on/off. take out the batteries and put them back in, making sure they are placed correctly. make sure you have the correct batteries in the system. make sure the unit is on; press firmly and in the center of the button. replace the batteries.. Try slipping a finger between the collar and your pet’s skin. you should be able to do that comfortably. to ensure that the probes are working, rub them against some hard surface (not glass). if the red light comes on, you’ll know that they’re working.. Remove the collar from your pet. make sure the static correction level on the receiver collar is set at 2 or above. take the test light tool and place it on the receiver collar and walk out to the boundary of the containment system. if the test light flashes, your collar is working and you should try/check the following:.
