Training A Puppy When You Work Full Time

Speaking of creates, spend time crate training your dog. this gives him a warm, cozy den when he feels lonely or afraid. introduce the crate slowly and provide treats when the dog checks it out. put warm, soft bedding in the crate.. Arguably the biggest hurdle is potty training. when you’re home, you’re able to walk your puppy outside every half an hour. but this isn’t possible when raising a puppy while you work full time. you have two options: the puppy pen: with a bed area and a separate toilet spot ; crate train: with appropriately timed comfort breaks.. As a puppy take them out every 30 minutes when you are home to “do their business”. at night limit their water – remove it at night an hour before they will go out for the last time during the night most important, crate train your dog you have to be consistent.

The puppy stage is perfect if you want to start this training. the potty time can become a good habit through a routine. for this, you will need to take specific hours of the day to take the puppy out and wait until she does her business. make sure you always pick the same spot, that way she will link the place with the potty time.. Crate training a puppy when you work. you can still crate train your puppy when you work full time, but you’ll need to do the training when you are at home to begin with. this is because early crate training involves leaving the puppy for very short periods of time, and because a small puppy can’t hold his bladder for very long.. Potty training when you work full time is easier than you might think! when you f irst bring him home, you will feel like you spend more time taking him outside than anything else. truth be told, if this is how you feel, then you are doing it right. basically after everything your pup does (eat, drink, play, sleep and nap…) he needs to go out..
